Return & Refund Policy

At Lakeside Textiles, we take pride in providing high-quality fabrics and carefully preparing each order. Because most fabric is cut specifically for your order, our return policy reflects the nature of fabric sales.

Cut Fabric Policy

All fabric sold by Lakeside Textiles is cut to order. Because of this, cut fabric cannot be returned or refunded.

Once fabric has been cut from the bolt to fulfill your order, it cannot be restocked or resold in its original form. We encourage customers to review product descriptions, colors, and quantities carefully before placing an order.

Quality Inspection

Your satisfaction is important to us. All fabric is carefully inspected before it is cut and shipped to ensure it meets our quality standards. Our goal is to make sure you receive fabric that is free from defects.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you believe you received a defective item or an incorrect order, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos showing the defect or incorrect item

We will review the issue and work with you to determine the best resolution, which may include a replacement or store credit when appropriate.

Order Changes or Cancellations

Because orders are processed quickly, changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of purchase. After an order has been cut or shipped, it cannot be modified or canceled.

Fabric-Specific Notes

Fabric can vary slightly due to the nature of textile production. Please keep the following in mind when ordering:

Color Variations
Colors may appear slightly different due to monitor settings, lighting, and dye lots. While we do our best to represent colors accurately, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

Dye Lots
Fabric printed or dyed in different production runs (dye lots) may have slight color variations. Ordering the full amount needed for your project at one time is recommended.

Fabric Cuts
When ordering multiple yards of the same fabric, we make every effort to provide the fabric in one continuous cut whenever possible. However, this cannot always be guaranteed depending on inventory.
